Key Responsibilities

  • •Thoroughly investigate and manage arbitration cases, providing detailed information and conducting audits on internal complaint handling.
  • •Assess arbitration cases and decisions and take responsibility for the legally binding decision, ensuring Wise presents necessary evidence.
  • •Maintain in-depth knowledge of local regulatory frameworks and evolving arbitration assessments to ensure compliant outcomes.
  • •Monitor regulatory changes, interpret their impact, and apply growth/scaling insight to improve case management and policy contributions.
  • •Collaborate cross-functionally (Compliance, Operations, Product) to translate arbitration insights into actionable policy/process improvements and perform root-cause analysis.

Salary: HUF 890,000 - 1,130,000 monthly

Key Requirements

  • •At least 12 months of experience in dispute resolution, regulatory operations, or high-tier complaints handling.
  • •For external applicants: 12–24 months in a Financial Ombudsman office, regulatory body, bank, or FinTech handling disputes, legal claims, or regulatory escalations.
  • •Fluency in English (written and spoken) and fully fluent in at least one of the following: French, German, Polish, or Romanian.
  • •A legal background is preferred (e.g., law degree, paralegal experience, or legal compliance background).
  • •Strong analytical and organizational skills, including attention to detail and comfort working with data and case evidence.
