Key Responsibilities

  • •Support client service and business development efforts for a designated client base, partnering with Investment Relationship Managers.
  • •Facilitate service team efforts to ensure timely execution, issue resolution, and effective communication of client needs.
  • •Develop deep understanding of each client’s investment objectives to align client needs with Northern Trust solutions.
  • •Act as a trusted day-to-day resource by responding to inquiries, coordinating requests, and proactively identifying opportunities to add value.
  • •Lead onboarding of new investment mandates and client relationships through coordination across internal stakeholders, consultants, custodians, and external advisors.

Key Requirements

  • •A College or University degree and several years’ experience interacting with institutional investors or similar professional contacts.
  • •Series 7 and 63 required or must be obtained within 90 days.
  • •Ability to develop knowledge across public and private asset class solutions, including Northern Trust capabilities and family-office relevant industry trends.
  • •Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills to build credibility with sophisticated family office executives and investment committees.
  • •Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems independently, and collaborate across diverse internal teams.
