Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop manufacturable GaN unit processes and integrate unit processes to support GaN technology products.
  • •Lead hands-on fab process development through qualification, including recipe development, characterization, metrology requirements, and process control setup.
  • •Define process flow/integration requirements and specifications to meet electrical and process requirements.
  • •Design experiments and perform statistical analysis, correlating device output electrical data with process/material inputs and improving performance, reliability, and robustness.
  • •Correlate process/metrology output with equipment/tool inputs, match performance across process tools/chambers, and coordinate with equipment, integration, component, reliability, and test/product engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, or Electrical Engineering.
  • •3 years of experience with MOCVD GaN epitaxy growth and related semiconductor materials and characterization/analysis.
  • •Knowledge of semiconductor unit process development and loop integration.
  • •Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing and processes, including GaN/device physics.
  • •Strong SPC methodology and data analytics, including statistical design of experiments and analysis of large data sets.
