Job Function: Legal, Risk & Compliance

Key Responsibilities

•Provide non-medical, short-term, solution-focused counseling to adults, children, and youth of service members, including assessment, brief counseling, action planning, referral, and follow-up
•Offer training and health/wellness presentations, participate in health fairs, and provide guidance to parents and staff within military communities
•Enter counselor activity data daily via smartphone or web application, ensuring confidentiality and accurate reporting
•Collaborate with installation POCs to deliver MFLC services within scope and adapt to varied environments (military installations, DoDEA schools, youth programs)
•Support CYB staff in schools and community settings, backing up school positions and responding to emergent situations on base

Key Requirements

•Master’s Degree from an accredited graduate program in a mental health related field, or social work
•Currently licensed to practice independently (LCSW, LICSW, LCSW-R or LICSW-CP; LPC or LMHC; LMFT)
•Must be local or willing to relocate to become local and licensed at the independent level
•Ability to prove U.S. Citizenship and fluent English
•Experience working in a school setting or with DoDEA DoD programs (CYB positions) and/or military culture familiarity
