Key Responsibilities

  • •Work closely with customers to understand pain points, new use cases, and deployment strategies, and propose innovative solutions.
  • •Collaborate with product, architecture, and engineering teams to define features, design, develop, and integrate features end to end into Cumulus Linux.
  • •Design, develop, and maintain system services and infrastructure components, including programmatic interfaces and APIs.
  • •Develop and maintain software in C, Python, and Shell scripts.
  • •Debug and resolve issues reported by Quality Engineering and customer-facing teams.

Key Requirements

  • •BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • •5+ years developing enterprise software for infrastructure components/libraries and protocols such as DNS, DHCP, and timing protocols, with knowledge of high availability, process health monitoring, and software upgrades.
  • •Knowledge of YANG data modeling and management protocols such as SNMP, NETCONF, or gNMI.
  • •Experience programming in C, Python, and Shell scripting.
  • •Experience with source code management, code coverage, unit testing, and debugging tools.
