Senior Hydropower Lead responsible for technical project leadership, team management and business development across the UK, Europe and India. Leads multi-disciplinary hydro projects from feasibility to construction, coordinates with clients and partners, mentors engineers, and shapes strategic direction to grow the renewables practice.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead multi-disciplinary teams on major hydropower projects and programs, directing delivery and maintaining client, supply chain and internal relationships globally.
•Lead pursuit of major hydropower projects, developing proposals and engaging with clients to win work.
•Support senior leaders in developing business strategies for hydropower based on market trends and identify opportunities within the business line and adjacent sectors.
•Lead client-facing activities to develop business with existing clients and win work with new clients, building relationships with clients, teaming partners, and stakeholders.
•Develop capture strategies for major pursuits and align with AECOM’s business development strategies and technical capabilities.

Key Requirements

•BEng (Hons) degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical or Mechanical or Environmental)
•Chartered status or actively working towards chartership
•Background in civil, electrical, mechanical, environmental or project management experience in the hydropower sector with high technical competence
•Experience leading hydropower-related projects (hydroelectric design – conventional and pumped storage; construction; commissioning) and developing teams
•Strong track record of achieving/exceeding financial KPIs and driving business development
