Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyze the end-to-end mainframe application landscape, including COBOL programs and DB2/IMS databases, and document current-state architecture.
  • •Extract and document business rules and processing logic, including data models, file structures, and interface/dependency mappings.
  • •Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot COBOL programs and JCL scripts for batch and online processing.
  • •Use DB2 and IMS expertise to tune performance and support transactions and hierarchical databases.
  • •Support modernization by mapping legacy logic to modern services and APIs and assisting with DB2/VSAM to cloud data migration and integration work.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 10+ years of experience in IBM z/OS mainframe environments.
