Job Summary

Serve as the primary service and maintenance contact for Trane Technologies customers in a defined commercial market, commissioning, troubleshooting, repairing, and starting up HVAC systems. Coordinate on-site installation and repair needs with internal teams and customers, use blueprints and engineering specifications to diagnose units, and maintain high safety standards while supporting customer satisfaction across facilities and retrofits.

•Coordinate with team leader/project manager and customers to understand on-site installation and repair requirements, forecast issues, gather materials, and synchronize work.
•Serve as the direct customer contact and ensure customer satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems at customer locations.
•Use cutting-edge software/technology and hand tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair HVAC units.
•Maintain flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed, including occasional overnight stays.
•Enforce safety standards and maintain security/accountability of company-issued and procured assets by recording use, wear, and conditions.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma (or equivalent) or a certificate of completion from an accredited technical school; typically 0-2 years of HVAC experience.
•Technical school or formal training is preferred.
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency with a hand-held computer (smartphone, iPad).
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major/frequent traffic violations.
•EPA certification preferred (e.g., HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, Gas Installer).
