Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage end-to-end delivery of power infrastructure projects across LV, MV, and HV networks, including substations, switchgear replacements, and transformer installations.
  • •Integrate SCADA, protection systems, and grid interface requirements, overseeing utility corridor design and cable route planning for underground and overhead systems.
  • •Deliver energy resilience and sustainable infrastructure, including BESS, solar PV farms and associated controls/export configurations, and redundancy planning (backup generation and UPS).
  • •Lead condition surveys and asset management inputs, including electrical asset assessments, buried utilities investigation (GPR/trial holes), and cable condition testing and reporting.
  • •Administer programme, commercial, and contract management in live operational environments, ensuring safety/RAMs compliance and coordinating statutory approvals, grid connections, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, or related discipline).
  • •Minimum 10 years’ experience in project management within heavy civils and energy infrastructure.
  • •Strong experience with substation projects and HV/MV electrical systems.
  • •Proven delivery of renewable energy systems (PV, geothermal, etc.).
  • •Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
