Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as a trusted advisor to the Substation Department Manager with weekly touchpoints and monthly reporting.
  • •Assist with managing financial and technical aspects of substation team performance, including timecard approvals and resource planning.
  • •Support appraisals and compensation/promotion/bonus recommendations and participate in regional/business unit initiatives.
  • •Support proposal development, construction cost estimates, and project scheduling and budgeting.
  • •Perform and direct others in detailed design of medium to extra-high-voltage substations, including one-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, SCADA designs, communications designs, and equipment specifications.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • •7+ years of post-education experience as an electrical engineer providing design deliverables for substation projects.
  • •Demonstrated leadership experience supporting substation project and client teams.
  • •Ability to develop and maintain client relationships and contribute to client team development.
  • •Proven track record of workplace safety and ability to abide by relevant health, safety, drug/alcohol, and harassment policies.
