Job Summary

Operate tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles for daily transportation needs, including pre-/post-trip inspections, loading and unloading, and maintaining a clean, orderly truck. Follow dispatch instructions and applicable laws, complete documentation and logs per DOT and state/federal regulations, and inspect/inventory goods before transport. Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage. Work under a Driver Manager while supporting safe, courteous service.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate a tractor-trailer combination or single, double, or tri-axel vehicle for daily driving.
•Load and unload the truck, maneuvering vehicles into loading/unloading positions and following signals from the loading crew.
•Maintain logs of working hours and vehicle service/repair status in line with state and federal regulations.
•Inventory and inspect goods to be moved, and complete/store/submit all required documentation.
•Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to vehicles.

Key Requirements

•Obtain and maintain a valid State CDL-B or CDL-A license (and any required endorsements).
•Obtain a DOT Medical Card through the company.
•Perform daily pre/post trip inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with DOT guidelines and company policies.
•Ability to understand written and oral direction and communicate with others.
•Be able to work independently and safely with strong organization skills and work ethic.
