Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate a tractor-trailer combination or single, double, or tri-axel vehicle for daily driving.
  • •Load and unload the truck, maneuvering vehicles into loading/unloading positions and following signals from the loading crew.
  • •Maintain logs of working hours and vehicle service/repair status in line with state and federal regulations.
  • •Inventory and inspect goods to be moved, and complete/store/submit all required documentation.
  • •Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to vehicles.

Key Requirements

  • •Obtain and maintain a valid State CDL-B or CDL-A license (and any required endorsements).
  • •Obtain a DOT Medical Card through the company.
  • •Perform daily pre/post trip inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with DOT guidelines and company policies.
  • •Ability to understand written and oral direction and communicate with others.
  • •Be able to work independently and safely with strong organization skills and work ethic.
