Commission and service environmental-control systems in customer settings by diagnosing and repairing equipment, starting up and commissioning new systems, and using HVAC/controls knowledge. Key Responsibilities

•Start up and commission new HVAC/control systems and diagnose and repair environmental-control systems in commercial settings.
•Serve as the direct customer contact and ensure customer satisfaction through diagnosing, repairing, and servicing equipment at customer locations.
•Coordinate with the team leader and customer to understand on-site installation and repair requirements by forecasting issues, gathering materials, and synchronizing work.
•Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Trane product installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair for direct digital control systems.
•Enforce safety standards and maintain security/accountability of company-issued and procured assets by recording use and conditions.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or equivalent and typically 3–5 years of experience in HVAC/Controls; Technical School or formal training preferred.
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency with a handheld computer (smartphone, iPad).
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major/frequent traffic violations.
•Previous experience with DDC controls systems is preferred.
•EPA preferred.
