Key Responsibilities

  • •Start up and commission new HVAC/control systems and diagnose and repair environmental-control systems in commercial settings.
  • •Serve as the direct customer contact and ensure customer satisfaction through diagnosing, repairing, and servicing equipment at customer locations.
  • •Coordinate with the team leader and customer to understand on-site installation and repair requirements by forecasting issues, gathering materials, and synchronizing work.
  • •Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Trane product installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair for direct digital control systems.
  • •Enforce safety standards and maintain security/accountability of company-issued and procured assets by recording use and conditions.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or equivalent and typically 3–5 years of experience in HVAC/Controls; Technical School or formal training preferred.
  • •Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency with a handheld computer (smartphone, iPad).
  • •Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major/frequent traffic violations.
  • •Previous experience with DDC controls systems is preferred.
  • •EPA preferred.
