Mechanical design engineer within a global VE/CE environment, delivering cost-reduction ideas, BOM-driven improvements, and robust parts in collaboration with design, simulation, manufacturing, and supply chain teams. You’ll contribute to NPI projects, develop technical product expertise quickly, and produce precise GD&T drawings using Creo/SolidWorks, while driving manufacturability and durability from concept through release.

Key Responsibilities

•Work in a global team as an Individual Contributor with responsibilities and ownership for mechanical design in Value Engineering (VE) and Component Engineering (CE).
•Identify cost reduction ideas from part and process design by BOM analysis and own VE/CE projects.
•Collaborate with design, simulation, drafting, evaluation, manufacturing, marketing, and supply chain teams.
•Generate technical reports, documentation, and progress reporting.
•Develop technical product expertise quickly to support VE/CE ideation.

Key Requirements

•B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
•4–7 years of experience in mechanical design, Value Engineering and Component Engineering
•Experience with value engineering methodologies and knowledge of should costing
•Proficiency in Creo or SolidWorks for 3D design and 2D GD&T drawings (GD&T)
•DFMEA/PFMEA, BOM/PLM knowledge and experience
•Experience with manufacturing processes (injection molding, machining, casting, sheet metal) and design for manufacturability
