Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical guidance and support for development and implementation of national health policies, programmes, and plans for rehabilitation, disability inclusion, assistive technology, and long-term care.
  • •Advise and collaborate on technical cooperation programmes across PHC reforms, health governance, and health systems development with a focus on rehabilitation and long-term care.
  • •Support establishment of standards for health programming and operation, including integrated health service networks and rehabilitation/long-term care facilities.
  • •Provide technical assistance to integrate rehabilitation and long-term care into health emergency preparedness and response, including continuity of care and referral strengthening.
  • •Coordinate planning and implementation of technical activities, and record and disseminate knowledge and findings; support health information systems for decision-making.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree in public health, health systems/services administration, health management, or social sciences (or related field).
  • •At least seven years of relevant experience in health systems and service delivery, including rehabilitation, assistive technology, disability and/or long-term care.
  • •Proven skills in policy development, planning, monitoring, and evaluating health systems.
  • •Demonstrated ability to provide technical advice and guidance to multiple stakeholders on health system reform for rehabilitation and long-term care.
  • •Expert knowledge of English and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
