Job Summary

Senior CS Technical Support Engineer responsible for diagnosing and solving complex machine-level problems on ASML systems at customer sites in Hsinchu. Duties include cross-competency diagnostics, customer training, knowledge transfer for new products, and leading/mentoring junior engineers while optimizing processes and developing preventative problem-solving capabilities for upcoming launches.

Job Function: Customer Support (Service Desk)

Key Responsibilities

•Problem analysis and approach: Gather information, analyze, and decide on initial approach to solve complex problems within primary competency; adapt and establish new processes if needed.
•Problem handovers and routing: Drive problem aspects with cross-functional teams, document data for problem resolution, ensure ownership and follow-up.
•Repairs: Advise customer personnel and first-line support, perform repairs, replace parts, and implement countermeasures to improve machine performance.
•Training / advice: Train first-line engineers and customers in maintenance, develop internal training syllabus as needed.
•Process Optimization: Initiate and revise processes, provide structural and strategic solutions to optimize regional performance.

Key Requirements

•MS degree in Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
•Experience in semiconductor industry
•Specialized knowledge in pneumatics, hydraulics or electronics, and semiconductor processes, and relevant software
•Experience with data analysis tools and common office software
•Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence in multidisciplinary environments
