Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations to meet KPIs and profit/loss expectations, aligned to sales or operations focus.
  • •Ensure consistent execution of corporate programs, policies, routine and seasonal initiatives, and store-specific needs.
  • •Support recruiting, hiring, training, succession planning, and staff development through performance feedback and coaching.
  • •Maintain accuracy of cash management, minimize shrink, and assume accountability for store and product security using provided systems.
  • •Ensure compliance with company policies and government legislation, including employment standards, health and safety, POS integrity, and visual merchandising guidelines.

Key Requirements

  • •College or university degree and 1 year of retail experience, preferably in sporting apparel & footwear (or equivalent education/experience).
  • •Prior management and keyboarded experience preferred.
  • •Proficiency in retail operations and selling skills, including cash procedures.
  • •Ability to coach and manage talent, prioritize resources, and communicate effectively with employees, customers, and the public.
  • •Comfort with varied schedules including weekends, evenings, statutory holidays, and extra peak-period hours.
