Key Responsibilities

  • •Independently conduct site inspections in the selected electrical discipline.
  • •Review design information, tolerances, and agreed methods of working, and assess whether test procedures and recorded results demonstrate compliance with specifications and codes.
  • •Assist with reviewing project documentation for compliance with specifications and industry codes of practice; report issues clearly to senior team members.
  • •Produce high-standard documentation including Site Observation Reports and detailed daily diaries of inspected systems, reviewed documents, and site decisions.
  • •Support, mentor, and train colleagues; track task completion and prepare lookaheads/trackers for project milestones.

Key Requirements

  • •MEP / Building Services Engineering degree (including BSc Electrical Engineering or BSc Building Services Engineering).
  • •Minimum 8 years of job-related experience with an Engineering degree.
  • •Chartered Engineer (desirable, not essential) and/or Incorporated Engineer (desirable, not essential).
  • •Relevant qualifications such as HNC/HND or equivalent, or ONC/OND or equivalent, or City & Guilds/Trade certificates (as listed).
  • •Certified Commissioning Authority experience with BCA, ACG or NEBB (desirable, not essential).
