Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage multiple small capital projects end-to-end, from start to finish, with values from $25K to $2.5M.
  • •Engage stakeholders to define project scope, execution strategy, and estimate Total Installed Cost; define project economics and payback.
  • •Develop and document scaled execution plans, and create accurate scopes, schedules, and estimates; prepare Appropriations Request documents for corporate capital funds.
  • •Assemble and guide a multidisciplinary project team, providing guidance to achieve scope, schedule milestones, and cost & quality objectives.
  • •Coordinate with procurement and other resources to put required contracts, equipment, supplies, and services in place; manage engineering reviews, commissioning/start-up, safety reviews, change management, deliverables, documentation, and closeout.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of industry experience as a Project Manager.
  • •Actual manufacturing plant experience, including supporting at least one turnaround or extended outage.
  • •Ability to work extended hours or weekends (infrequently) to support plant outages and tight deadline projects.
  • •Knowledge of successful project management practices, including development of scope, schedule, estimates, and project cost controls and forecasting.
  • •Experience managing projects in chemical or related manufacturing facilities, planning and driving projects from inception through start-up and completion.
