Lead and build the Malta-based compliance team for OKX Europe, shaping and maintaining robust policies and controls. Collaborate with Data, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Product and Risk to implement a Malta/EU-compliant program, monitor Maltese/EU regulations, conduct reviews, and report to management and the board.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide strategic direction, training and advisory support to business partners and stakeholders regarding compliance in a constantly evolving regulatory environment.
•Develop and maintain robust compliance policies, procedures, controls and frameworks.
•Engage cross-functionally with Data, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Product, and Risk teams to implement an effective compliance program in line with global standards.
•Monitor and assess compliance with Maltese/EU laws, regulations and policies, particularly as they pertain to compliance.
•Oversee annual, periodic and on-demand compliance reviews and investigations, including policy updates and risk assessments.

Key Requirements

•10+ years of regulatory compliance experience within financial services, payments, fintech or crypto sectors.
