Key Responsibilities

  • •Implement supply chain strategy and ensure critical tasks, performance targets, plans, and budgets are adhered to with due consideration of risk identification.
  • •Develop sourcing and contracting strategies to support business needs; implement value creation and supplier engagement strategies aligned to the global supply chain strategy.
  • •Participate in regional contract negotiations and drive step changes in commercial deals while ensuring timely, value-driven sourcing and contracting activities.
  • •Deliver planning and scheduling for routine, tactical, sourcing, and contract activities; track and monitor progress against sourcing and contracts targets and provide budget/resource inputs.
  • •Embed inclusive procurement expectations in commercial agreements and manage delivery, while ensuring compliance with governance requirements and applicable legislative requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Grade 12/N3 Technical or National Diploma in Supply Chain/Procurement (or equivalent on NQF6).
  • •3-5 years of relevant experience in a supply chain environment with a comprehensive understanding of the value chain.
  • •Expertise in sourcing and contracting and understanding of integrating commercial, PSC, supplier management, and purchasing sub-disciplines.
  • •Knowledge of commercial and business case development and negotiation principles.
  • •Awareness of safety and sustainability concerning supply chain and inclusive procurement; strong critical and systems thinking.
