Job Summary

Lead development and optimization of extrusion-coating formulations, raw materials, and products from concept through industrialization. Drive projects for process development, industrialization, and cost/performance improvements by partnering with Production, R&D, Quality, and Procurement. Qualify new raw materials with suppliers, validate industrial trials, and track technical and economic outcomes. Monitor technology and analytical methods (e.g., FTIR, DSC, rheology, spectroscopy) to support innovation and continuous improvement for pharmaceutical and food packaging markets.

Key Responsibilities

•Pilot development, industrialization, and optimization projects for extrusion-coating processes.
•Develop and optimize formulations, resins, and raw materials to improve technical performance, product quality, and costs.
•Provide technical expertise to Production, R&D, Quality, and Procurement teams on processes, formulations, and materials.
•Collaborate with extrusion-coating raw material suppliers and Procurement to identify, qualify, and integrate new raw materials.
•Ensure ongoing technological monitoring to drive innovation and continuous improvement, including qualification and follow-up of industrial trial performance.

Key Requirements

•Master’s degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Science, or Process Engineering.
•Minimum 10 years’ experience in formulation development, extrusion, or polymer processing in demanding industrial environments.
•Strong knowledge of resins, polymers, and raw materials used in relevant industrial processing.
•Good understanding of extrusion and compounding equipment and analytical techniques (FTIR, DSC, rheology, spectroscopy/spectrometry).
•Proven experience managing industrial development and qualification projects, with professional English (minimum C1).
