Key Responsibilities

  • •Direct and control departmental activities on shift to ensure safe, on-time performance and alignment with SLAs, SOPs, shift demand, and regulatory/legal requirements.
  • •Plan and control manpower resources and equipment to optimize utilization and savings while ensuring compliance with safety and service standards.
  • •Review the flight schedule, align resource planning to work demand, and forecast operational issues to ensure resource availability during manpower shortages or equipment breakdown/maintenance.
  • •Guide and lead Department Team Leaders to deliver required services for shift requirements, including briefings on expectations and action plans.
  • •Compile shift reports summarizing performance and service shortfalls, recommending solutions and corrective actions; coordinate immediate rectification of irregular operations as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in business administration, aviation, ground handling, or customer service with 4-6 years of experience in aviation/ground handling/customer service, or a diploma with 6-8 years experience.
  • •Advanced understanding of airlines or customer service product and relevant industry regulations for the assigned work area.
  • •Advanced understanding of aviation terminology.
  • •Advanced customer management and communication skills.
  • •Advanced safety awareness, supervisory, and planning/organizing skills (including proficient IT/computer literacy and writing), plus a valid UAE driving licence.
