Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive, pay out, and process cash, negotiable items, loan payments, deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
  • •Set up, close, and balance the teller station; record sales of monetary instruments and maintain a neat, well-stocked teller area.
  • •Cross-sell bank products and services while following limits to protect customer accounts and ensure bank safety and soundness.
  • •Assist with balancing vault, ATM, night drop, and coin machine as assigned; support proper scanning of bank documents and proof work.
  • •Complete required BSA/AML and other compliance training; adhere to work schedule and maintain safe, constant alertness.

Key Requirements

  • •Equivalent to four years high school or GED plus 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training.
  • •Ability to communicate effectively with customers and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations.
  • •Basic math skills, including ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers; ability to work with 10-key.
  • •Ability to use common sense understanding to carry out simple multi-step instructions and handle standardized situations with limited variables.
  • •Must be able to maintain a positive, friendly, professional attitude and appearance and complete required BSA/AML and other compliance training.
