Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver lessons that inspire students and achieve the best possible outcomes.
  • •Plan, prepare, and present sessions that meet curriculum requirements and cater for the whole ability range.
  • •Observe, assess, and record children’s development using Target Tracker, using assessment data to guide planning and interventions.
  • •Manage classes effectively and follow the school’s Behavior Policy while maintaining high expectations for behavior.
  • •Collaborate with colleagues and parents, and work with other professionals (e.g., speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, educational psychologists) when required.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in the related subject with PGCE or other teacher qualification.
  • •Minimum 2 years teaching experience.
  • •Clear understanding of the curriculum and ability to plan lessons for the whole ability range.
  • •Previous experience working with students for whom English is not their first language.
  • •Clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services (DBS) check or police check.
