Retrieve, inspect, and cut products to customer-supplied specifications. Operate the saw, inspect and prepare parts for shipment, and maintain production and quality records. Communicate machine and product issues to the next operator and notify your supervisor of non-conforming items or equipment problems. Patch parts/scrap as needed and keep the saw and yard area clean, including occasional use of cleaning chemicals and power tools.
