Key Responsibilities

  • •Check daily production orders to ensure fulfillment of customer orders and ensure every position is filled before production line start-up.
  • •Oversee team member morning exercises and job rotation to facilitate ergonomics.
  • •Ensure machinery, workstations, and processing operations meet required standards, including passing USDA Inspection and maintaining high-quality production.
  • •Ensure accurate shipments, inventory rotation, proper product coding, and keep records of reworked or returned product.
  • •Provide daily and monthly safety promotion; perform human relations functions including training, retaining, and counseling; and oversee continuous quality education.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of manufacturing environment experience with prior supervisory/lead experience (or equivalent education typically acquired through a bachelor’s degree).
  • •Familiarity with processing floor operations; HACCP certification and knowledge of basic HACCP principles and CCP monitoring/verification are a plus.
  • •Knowledge of fresh meats processing is a plus.
  • •Strong communication skills.
  • •Must be able to access all production floor areas for audits and inspections and perform physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation.
