Job Summary

Support the Principal Investing segment from Apollo’s Strategic Finance team by building and maintaining flexible financial models for PII P&L, budgeting, and forecasting. Partner with Financial Reporting, Treasury, Human Capital, Business Management, and Investment teams to source and analyze data for long-term planning and monthly forecasts. Lead scenario analyses and ad hoc strategic initiatives, including stress testing and transaction modeling, and develop AI-driven, data-focused approaches to improve analysis and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain detailed financial models of Principal Investment Income (PII) P&L and model new strategic initiatives.
•Liaise with Financial Reporting, Treasury, Human Capital, Business Management, and Investment teams to source and analyze data for budget, long-term plan, and monthly forecasts supporting senior management decisions.
•Conduct ad hoc projects, scenario analyses, and stress testing with the Risk function based on macroeconomic and market conditions.
•Support Human Capital in compensation decisions and structuring.
•Serve as a key point person on strategic projects and enhance models to capture business drivers, trends, risks, and opportunities, including transaction support for fund profitability, tax analyses, acquisitions, and M&A impacts.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 140,000 - 205,000 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years of financial analysis experience, ideally in Investment Banking or Asset Management, supporting core CFO/FP&A functions and Big-4 valuation or advisory services.
•Strong analytical thinking and financial reasoning, with excellent Excel-based modeling skills.
•Experience with data analytics; AI experience is a plus.
•Exceptional (PowerPoint) presentation skills and strong communication for pitching analysis to different audiences.
•High attention to detail and organizational skills, comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
