Job Summary

Oversee and optimize Production Planning, SIOP, and Materials Management to ensure efficient production schedules that meet customer demand and align with business objectives. Coordinate cross-functional teams to build short-, medium-, and long-term plans, monitor weekly schedules against capacity and expedites, and track OTTR/OTTP metrics. Lead order escalations to shipment and delivery, drive corrective actions, manage shortage reporting, and ensure safety and health compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop short-, medium-, and long-term production plans.
•Monitor the weekly production plan based on open production orders, capacity, and customer expedites, and track adherence across areas.
•Follow up on critical priorities and escalations until orders are shipped to transportation companies and delivered to customers.
•Own planning metrics including OTTR (On Time to Request) and OTTP (On Time to Promise).
•Generate and follow up on Production and Purchasing shortage reports; analyze and establish optimal material replenishment quantities, including corrective actions and alternative uses for surplus materials.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
•5 years of proven success in transportation/logistics, including demand planning, supply planning, manufacturing planning, and supply chain planning/execution.
•Strong knowledge of Material Master parameters (SMK, PDT, TRLT, SS, COV, etc.) and ability to interpret BOM.
•Experience implementing material replenishment systems (e.g., Kanban, Min/Max).
•Experience using ERP systems, including SAP and RR, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office.
