Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and oversee sanitation supervisors and hourly sanitation employees to complete sanitation activities safely, correctly, and on schedule.
  • •Train, coach, and develop sanitation staff; plan, assign, and direct daily work while evaluating performance.
  • •Ensure compliance with Pilgrim’s sanitation procedures, USDA regulations, OSHA requirements, and relevant food safety standards.
  • •Serve as the primary communication link between the plant and USDA on sanitation matters and maintain relationships with chemical suppliers.
  • •Monitor inventory, usage, and proper handling of sanitation chemicals and supplies; assist with department budget and cost-control opportunities.
