Key Responsibilities

  • •Participate on small to medium project design teams and support scope and costing documents for proposals.
  • •Coordinate with engineering staff, junior team members, stakeholders, and other disciplines to manage project execution.
  • •Perform civil engineering design work including erosion and sediment control measures, SPCC plans, civil grading, hydraulics/hydrology, and stormwater management.
  • •Prepare construction drawings and specifications, and assist in creating client-ready reports and drawings.
  • •Assist with permit applications, respond to agency comments, evaluate design options, and provide training and mentoring to junior staff.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
  • •Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) registration in North Carolina, or ability to obtain within one year.
  • •3-5 years of professional engineering experience.
  • •Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and Civil design software tools (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D).
  • •Demonstrated ability to perform complex analytical and design work and solve technical problems in the civil engineering discipline.
