Key Responsibilities

  • •Obtain competitive pricing by managing relationships with suppliers and subcontractors for estimating.
  • •Lead development of schematic cost model estimates using historic benchmarking and forecasting.
  • •Review tender documentation to identify ambiguities, risks, key issues, and prepare consistent tender data.
  • •Analyze drawings and specifications, support quantity take-offs (manual and digital), and coordinate scope changes with the client during bidding.
  • •Conduct site inspections, reconcile estimate variances, compare contractor pricing to benchmarks, and support tender submissions and pricing clarifications while maintaining commercial confidentiality.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of working experience and 5+ years of relevant estimating experience, with GCC experience as a plus.
  • •Knowledge of estimating resources planning and detailed estimate rate calculations.
  • •Experience using cost estimating packages such as CCS (Candy).
  • •Strong proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, QS-related software, and web search/internet tools.
  • •ERP knowledge with SAP functional skills required.
