Job Summary

Lead and manage electrical and ICA design for wastewater and water infrastructure projects across feasibility, outline, detail, and construction design stages. Conduct site surveys, prepare and review load schedules, single line diagrams, cable calculations, instrument schedules, and PLC/SCADA control philosophy, URS, specifications, and technical reports. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients, support bids and proposals, and mentor more junior staff while improving digital design workflows using BIM and Projectwise.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead, manage, and review electrical and ICA design elements for wastewater and water infrastructure/treatment projects, including technical calculations, diagrams, and reports.
•Engage across all design stages (feasibility through construction design) while ensuring compliance with national and international design standards.
•Collaborate with other discipline teams and communicate effectively with clients and collaborators during design and planning phases.
•Delegate tasks, direct and oversee the work of others, and provide technical mentoring to more junior staff.
•Lead bid and proposal preparation and review/verify client deliverables such as calculations, drawings, and technical reports.

Key Requirements

•Extensive design experience managing the technical delivery of large-scale water engineering projects with multi-disciplinary knowledge.
•BEng or MEng in a related engineering field with experience in water and wastewater treatment.
•Chartered Member of a relevant Professional Institution.
•Proven experience in team leadership, mentoring, and line management.
•Strong collaboration and coordination skills between teams, clients, and stakeholders.
