Key Requirements

  • •BS/BE/BTech degree or equivalent with 2-4 years of experience in a similar role.
  • •Service Provider related certification such as CCNA or CCNP is helpful, with a drive for continuous learning.
  • •Knowledge of DWDM, OTN (G.709), SONET/SDH, and optical transport fundamentals.
  • •Knowledge and basic hands-on experience with Cisco Optical platforms including NCS1010, NCS1014, NCS1004, NCS4000, and NCS2000 series.
  • •Basic understanding of coherent optics, modulation formats (QPSK, 16QAM, 64QAM), FEC, and flex-grid concepts.
