Key Responsibilities

  • •Grind and polish metal components.
  • •Use spot welding equipment to weld appropriate parts together based on specifications.
  • •Run samples and check product quality against prints; adjust the spot welder based on material thickness and finish.
  • •Perform quality checks, fill out daily activity reports, and enter time recording in SAP.
  • •Change and maintain welding tips as necessary and perform 5S and continuous improvement activities.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • •Spot-welding experience (preferred).
  • •Ability to read blueprints and use simple measuring tools.
  • •Ability to lift 50 lbs. alone occasionally to frequently, and up to 100 lbs. with assistance occasionally.
  • •Ability to work mandatory overtime, including Saturdays, and up to 12 hours in a shift, as needed by the business.
