Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide senior direction and management across all facility construction development phases, from planning through commissioning, to open projects meeting budget, quality, schedule, creative, and guest experience targets.
  • •Lead highly effective project management, coordinate design decisions, manage construction document production, and implement efficient document control.
  • •Manage contractors and vendors by overseeing qualification, procurement, selection, contracting, and performance to complete facility development successfully.
  • •Maintain and report overall project budget and schedule, minimize change orders, manage project changes, and help avoid contract claims and disputes.
  • •Lead personnel management for the project team, oversee performance, ensure environmental health & safety responsibilities are followed, and manage project reporting to upper management.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred in Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or related.
  • •Licensed Architect or Engineer is preferred.
  • •20–25+ years of experience focused on development and management of major theme parks and attractions, and hospitality/entertainment projects.
  • •Ability to read, analyze, and act on scientific/technical data, financial reports, and legal documents; write professional reports and correspondence.
  • •Proficiency with SharePoint, PMWeb, Project, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Prolog, Outlook/Teams, and AI-related project platforms.
