Key Responsibilities

  • •Meet sales and service goals by engaging in bank sales processes, building customer relationships, following up by phone or email, and participating in sales campaigns.
  • •Accurately open, close, and maintain customer accounts according to established policies and procedures.
  • •Use knowledge of Old Second products and services to advise new and existing customers and begin learning more complex retail products such as IRAs and loans.
  • •Maintain high customer service standards to help achieve top internal customer service ratings.
  • •Cross-train as a Teller to support basic transactions (checks, deposits/withdrawals) and perform operational accuracy/compliance tasks including balancing the drawer and handling compliance documentation.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 18.1 - 22.5 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or equivalent) and one year of related experience in banking, cash handling, customer service, and/or sales (or an equivalent education/experience combination).
  • •Must become licensed with NMLS registration within 60 days and meet bank training requirements.
  • •Must work onsite to perform responsibilities across the Sycamore, Elburn, St. Charles, and Bartlett locations.
  • •Ability to learn and apply knowledge from Personal Banker training manuals, including retail products like IRAs and loans.
  • •Demonstrated customer service, communication, math/computer proficiency, and reliability/follow-through.
