Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the Design Management team leadership, including performance reviews and business development support.
  • •Manage AECOM financial processes and invoicing, and contribute to design management business planning and target monitoring.
  • •Lead Design Management projects across the UK and internationally, including roles and responsibilities/scope delineation and design programmes.
  • •Manage sub-consultants: responsibility matrices, back-to-back contracts, contract updates, cash flow projections, invoice tracking, and monthly financial reporting.
  • •Establish and implement design management procedures to manage deliverables, design quality, budgets/change, approvals, and design coordination/meetings/workshops.

Key Requirements

  • •Display competencies across the design process, project and design programming, and design management tools and procedures.
  • •Strong communication skills to coordinate design workshops, meetings, and approvals.
  • •Commercial awareness of projects with construction knowledge/experience relevant to delivery.
  • •Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, and InDesign.
  • •Ability to review design management outputs to ensure quality and compliance with contractual obligations.
