Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM), DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
  • •Carry out minor adjustments and repairs across electrical, brake/cooling, starters/alternators, engine electronics, steering systems, engines, transmissions, clutches, differentials, and more.
  • •Independently manage parts inventory and equipment on a company-issued service truck, including periodic reconciliation.
  • •Maintain and operate the company-issued service vehicle, including safety checks and daily pre-/post-trip inspections.
  • •Document repairs and findings on repair orders, including DOT forms, and upload photos using the company iOS device and TRAIT application.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED and up to 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • •Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required duties.
  • •Preferred OEM training and certifications; complete all-in company required training.
  • •Must successfully complete and pass a DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical prior to employment, and maintain a current, valid DOT medical card.
  • •21 years or older with a valid state-of-residence driver’s license; must obtain and maintain a Driver Qualification File.
