Key Responsibilities

  • •Use technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals and order parts.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors.
  • •Diagnose equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations and complete the necessary repairs.
  • •Set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites, working individually or with other technicians.
  • •Maintain complete daily paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed and assist with pick-up/delivery of equipment and parts.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position.
  • •Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
  • •Experience maintaining and repairing power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections and repairs.
  • •Ability to calculate nominal/effective tonnage and/or kW requirements and read/understand schematics.
  • •EPA 608 certification preferred; able to obtain within 6–12 months if not already certified.
