Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, and validate manufacturing tools, jigs, fixtures, and production stations for aerostructure components, considering ergonomic principles, safety standards, and production rates.
•Utilize CAD/CAM software (e.g., Catia V5/V6, NX) to create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings of tooling and station layouts.
•Perform feasibility studies, stress analyses, and simulations to optimize tooling designs and predict performance.
•Collaborate closely with manufacturing engineers, production teams, and suppliers to define requirements, integrate designs, and troubleshoot issues.
•Participate in design reviews, providing technical expertise and recommendations for improvements.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
•Proven experience in tooling design and/or production station layout within the aerospace or a similar complex manufacturing industry.
•Proficiency in 3D CAD software, preferably Catia V5/V6 or NX.
•Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials science, and assembly techniques for aerostructures.
•Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
