Key Responsibilities

  • •Comply with safety rules and regulations; be familiar with firefighting equipment in the area and follow instructions from shift supervisor/CCR operator.
  • •Monitor local parameters and enter periodic readings on log sheets; summarize activities/events during the shift in the log book.
  • •Inspect area and auxiliaries during the shift to ensure equipment parameters are within limits; report abnormalities to CCR operator/shift supervisor.
  • •Perform equipment changeovers per schedules; raise work requests or defect notes for faulty equipment and coordinate isolation/lining up before and after maintenance.
  • •Follow SOPs and work instructions, support training for new operators, and perform other duties as required by the line manager.

Key Requirements

  • •Technical Diploma in Engineering.
  • •1–3 years’ experience in field operations in power or water desalination units.
  • •Extensive experience as a local operator in conventional/combined cycle and water desalination plants (RO, MSF, MED) and/or renewable energy (solar, wind) plants.
  • •Awareness of HSE & quality standards, with knowledge of plant processes, equipment, and emergency operation procedures.
  • •Knowledge of firefighting equipment and waste identification, classification, and disposal.
