Provide pragmatic in-house legal advice to support business growth and manage commercial risk across Retail, Marketing, E-commerce, IT, Procurement and Operations. Lead drafting, review, and negotiation of supplier, distribution, marketing, partnership, technology, and retail contracts. Advise on UK and international data protection and privacy compliance, support governance programs, deliver legal/compliance training, and help ensure advertising, competition, anti-bribery, and modern slavery obligations are met.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead drafting, review, and negotiation of commercial agreements including supplier, distribution, marketing, partnership, technology, and retail contracts.
•Provide practical, commercially focused legal advice across business stakeholders in multiple functions.
•Advise on UK and international data protection matters and support governance programs monitoring privacy legislation.
•Deliver legal and compliance training and provide guidance on advertising standards, competition law, anti-bribery requirements, and modern slavery obligations.
•Review marketing campaigns and support compliance, disputes, legal queries, and collaboration with global/regional legal teams on cross-border initiatives.

Key Requirements

•Qualified UK Solicitor (or equivalent) with approximately 3–5 years’ post-qualification experience.
•Strong experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
•Solid knowledge of UK data protection legislation, including UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
•Understanding of advertising regulations, competition law, anti-bribery legislation and modern slavery requirements.
•Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including delivering guidance or training to non-legal audiences.
