Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Exercise safe driving practices while operating a commercial motor vehicle to transport live poultry or poultry feed.
  • •Comply with DOT regulations, company policies, and local, state, and federal laws.
  • •Perform and document pre-trip inspections (tires, oil, fuel, lights, brakes, hoses, etc.).
  • •Ensure secure loads before movement and maintain proper documentation for equipment, time, trips, and weight.
  • •Assist with loading and unloading as necessary; clean and wash the truck and report maintenance issues to a supervisor.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: 26.5 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 21 years of age.
  • •Valid Class A CDL with 1 year verifiable satisfactory driving record.
  • •Knowledge of Department of Transportation, State and Federal laws.
  • •Ability to read and write legibly.
  • •Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate with sound work ethic and honesty.
