Job Summary

Join WPP’s Global Automation Operations Centre as an L2/L3 Automation Support Engineer. You will monitor, triage, and resolve incidents for RPA bots and Power Platform solutions, perform root-cause analyses, and drive permanent fixes with a focus on security, scalability, and performance within a hybrid Chennai-based team.

Key Responsibilities

•Advanced Technical Support & Problem Management (L3)
•Root Cause Analysis & Proactive Optimization: Perform deep-dive diagnostics Power Automate Desktop and Power Platform failures using telemetry like Azure Application Insights to identify bottlenecks and implement permanent fixes
•PL-400 Technical Remediation: Debug and resolve issues within Dataverse plugins (C#), Custom Connectors, and Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) to ensure security, scalability, and performance
•Complex Logic & Integration Fixes: Troubleshoot and refactor advanced Power Automate cloud flows and desktop automations, addressing JSON parsing, API authentication (OAuth), and complex OData filtering
•Final Escalation Ownership: Manage end-to-end resolution, coordinate with Microsoft Support for platform bugs, and oversee hotfix deployments via Azure DevOps/GitHub ALM pipelines

Key Requirements

•Overall 3-4 years in an IT support, helpdesk, or technical operations role
•Minimum 1 year hands-on exposure to RPA technologies (UiPath, Microsoft) and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps)
•Proven understanding of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) concepts and tools
•Proven experience developing and maintaining Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Automate flows
•Basic knowledge of SQL and ability to run predefined queries
