Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Help prospective Federal customers understand how Sonar’s solutions fit within their software development life cycle.
•Drive technical aspects of pre-sales opportunities by doing technical presentations and demonstrations and supporting product evaluations.
•Advise customers on the best alignment of the Sonar solution with their deployment strategy.
•Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems encountered by prospective customers evaluating our products.
•Go beyond the sale to ensure successful product adoption and growth following purchase, working with our Customer Success and Support teams.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of software development or DevOps engineering experience
•Proven experience supporting Federal software sales (preferably in DevOps/OpenSource)
•Knowledge of US Federal Government software delivery practices (military branches, commands, intelligence community, civilian agencies)
•Excellent presentation skills
•Technical understanding of FedRAMP, DoD STIG, and NIST SP 800-218
