Key Responsibilities

  • •Directly manage and develop a team of hourly associates in an Inspection Center to achieve production targets for repairs, quality, and inventory goals.
  • •Oversee daily operations: manage vehicle movement safely, meet production goals daily/weekly/monthly, and monitor adherence to systems, policies, procedures, and performance standards.
  • •Provide coaching, feedback, performance management, and training using Quality Control standards to ensure effective first-time repairs and minimize re-checks and delays.
  • •Review and approve mechanical and physical defects of incoming inventory, partnering with the Inspection Center General Manager to repair or reject inventory based on estimated repair cost and overall vehicle quality.
  • •Prevent and resolve team conflicts; create a positive environment aligned with Carvana’s Values while ensuring safe working conditions to reduce injury risk.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • •Experience using computers.
  • •At least 18 years of age.
  • •Demonstrated functional expertise in one or more areas of Carvana’s reconditioning process, including understanding reconditioning processes and lean principles.
  • •Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no DUIs and no more than two moving violations in the last 3 years) and ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
