Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead drafting, review, negotiation, and administration of client contracts, NDAs, MSAs, joint venture agreements, and related commercial arrangements.
  • •Provide strategic contractual guidance, risk management support, and negotiation expertise across tendering, project execution, and business development.
  • •Advise stakeholders on contract terms, commercial obligations, financial instruments, and governance requirements to protect Wood’s interests.
  • •Collaborate with legal, commercial, finance, supply chain, and operational teams to identify, mitigate, and manage contractual and commercial risks.
  • •Support contract handovers, claims management, dispute resolution, and delivery of contractual obligations across the project lifecycle, including coaching and mentorship within the Contracts function.

Key Requirements

  • •Legally qualified with a Law degree and at least 7 years PQE.
  • •Proven contract review, drafting, and negotiation experience in a service company environment.
  • •Experience negotiating and setting up JVs, MOUs, bidding agreements, and consortium agreements.
  • •Expert knowledge of contract terms, contract principles, and compliance with contracting policies.
  • •Contracting experience across consulting, engineering, and construction projects in power, infrastructure, mining, environmental, and/or oil and gas industries (e.g., NEC, FIDIC, JCT, LOGIC), preferably onshore and offshore.
