Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to the school’s vision and strategic direction for the year group, leading planning meetings to keep the team organised and successful.
  • •Line manage a team of teachers and teaching assistants, ensuring performance against the UAE Professional Teacher Standards.
  • •Ensure innovative, purposeful, and challenging learning across the curriculum, including embedding the school’s learning DNA and language/attributes.
  • •Take responsibility for attainment and progress, using Learning Ladders and assessment data to influence planning and interventions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor degree in Education or related subject with PGCE (or equivalent teaching qualification).

  • •Commitment to continuing professional development (CPD) and upskilling through professional development programmes.
  • •Leadership experience is desirable.
