Job Summary

Set up and change molds according to the shop schedule and mold book instructions, including preparing machine plates and ensuring mold-setting areas stay clean, stocked, and organized. Repair and inspect electrical, water, and pneumatic circuits as needed, operate lifting devices and the overhead crane for mold tool installation/removal, and document all mold change activity and locations in the shopfloor reporting system. Follow cGMP, HACCP, ISO, SQF, and OSHA safety/production procedures.

Key Responsibilities

•Change molds as scheduled or as required by breakdowns.
•Make necessary connections/disconnections for mold changes and prep machine plates for mold set activity.
•Follow all set up instructions in the mold book and maintain clean, stocked, organized mold-setting areas.
•Repair/inspect electrical, water, and pneumatic circuits as needed.
•Operate lifting devices and overhead crane for installation and removal, and document mold changes in shopfloor reporting systems and the mold book.
