Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist plant operations with technical support for metallurgical parameters and control strategies.
  • •Collect plant data and measurements to support monitoring and ad-hoc decision-making.
  • •Coordinate plant and/or lab test work to optimize front-end and back-end plants.
  • •Conduct circuit surveys and report test work findings for further metallurgist analysis and implementation.
  • •Support daily, weekly, and monthly metallurgy reporting and help develop metallurgical laboratory/plant technicians.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years’ experience in mineral processing plants.
  • •Degree in Mineral Processing, Chemical Engineering or related fields.
  • •Understanding of metallurgical information, process improvement, and control strategies.
  • •Analytical skills for identifying process shortfalls and bottlenecks and conducting metallurgical test work.
  • •Comfort conducting test works and training technicians, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
